Musical Background

Before establishing himself as a solo artist, Eoin Miller was the drummer for Manchester-based indie rock band My Albatross. Known for their eclectic, high-energy sound and intricate vocal arrangements, the band carved out their own distinctive musical identity on the Manchester music scene.

During 2009–2010, My Albatross secured radio airplay on BBC and XFM, with tracks including Live and Live Lonely and Richman’s Daughter, alongside the B-sides I Don’t Love You and Spending Her Daisies. This exposure marked an exciting chapter in the band’s journey and brought their music to a wider audience.

His experience performing with the band helped shape Eoin’s musical outlook, laying the foundations for his continued evolution as a songwriter and recording artist. Today, he brings that same adventurous spirit into his solo work, drawing on a broad range of influences to create music that is both eclectic and distinctly his own.

Studio recordings

His debut single, “Don’t Be Lonely,” produced by Justin Forsley, introduces listeners to Miller’s poetic songwriting style. The track is an acoustic, upbeat ballad driven by warm guitar tones and lyrical rhymes that reflect themes of connection and optimism. It established Miller’s signature approach: simple instrumentation paired with thoughtful, expressive lyrics.

Following the debut, Miller released “Talk,” a bright, tap-along tune built around a playful ukulele arrangement which was produced by Martin Quinn. With its laid-back summer feel and catchy rhythm, the song captures a lighter side of Miller’s songwriting, offering an easy-going listening experience that contrasts nicely with the reflective tone of his first release.

Miller’s third single, “Unremittingly,” marks a stylistic shift. The track leans into country and rockabilly influences, bringing a richer, more roots-driven sound to his growing discography. This song was also released as a Gaelige version called 'Gan Staonadh'. Both produced by Justin Forsley.

His version of the classic 'I Drove All Night' is an acoustic, piano cover with jangling electric guitar sounds along with an earthy vocal. Recorded and produced by Quinn.

Early Christmas is a witty, reflective and slightly irreverent take on the modern Christmas season and was produced by Stuart Epps.
